Roschbach has 800 inhabitants and an area of 3,4 km². It was first documentally mentioned in 769 as "Rosbach".

The nave of the catholic church of St. Sebastian was built in 1936 on the layout of a baroque nave of 1723, the steeple is late gothic. The interior is of the former existing church in late rococo style, especially the high altar. Rococo baptismal font inside the ground floor of the gothic steeple.
