German Wine Route: Laumersheim

Laumersheim has 880 inhabitants and an area of 4,9 km². It was first documentary mentioned in 774 as "Liutmaresheim".

The catholic church of St. Bartholomew is a baroque church built in 1791, the gothic choir with gothic wall paintings is a remnant of a former church from the 14th century.

Laumersheim has several vintner houses with characteristic archways from the 16th - 19th century.
